Compare and Merge Missing (PowerPoint 2007)
I LOVE using the Compare and Merge feature in PowerPoint 2003. Sadly, it went adios in 2007. I was told by someone that there is a feature in SharePoint 2007 that would accomplish a compare function. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks!

Re: Compare and Merge Missing (PowerPoint 2007)
Unfortunately for you that feature has been removed. See Download details: PowerPoint 2007 Guide: PowerPoint 2003 to PowerPoint 2007 interactive command reference guide for a commadn comparison between releases.
I found this:
"To get around it, I saved both as Word outlines and used the Compare option
on the Review tab. Once you have it the way you want it, save and close and
then open PowerPoint and from the PowerPoint open option, choose All Outlines
as the files of type and then save as a presentation.
To send presentation text to Word - Office Button, Publish, Create Handouts
in Microsoft Office Word, Outline Only"
in a thread at Discussions in PowerPoint General Questions (the Microsoft newsgroup).
