    Wrong results (ms access 2007)

    In my table tblarticles i have a field for the unitprice. This field is of type "Valuta" = currency and has as notation "Euro" and number of decimals = automatic.
    Suppose an article has as unitprice = 21,05 euro.
    When i go to my form subfrmOrders, which is a subform of frmOrders, and i click on the field unitprice, the value change from 21,05 to 21,0462. As a consequence of this, the result of my calculation of a subtotal
    untiprice * Qty is wrong. Instead of resulting in 526,25 i get as result 526,16.
    It seems that the computer use the value 21,0462 instead of 21,05.
    What do i have to do to correct that ?

    Has the unit price been converted from Belgian Francs to Euros in 2002? EUR 21.0462 corresponds to exactly BF 849.

    You could edit the UnitPrice field in tblArticles.

    Dear Hans ;

    i believe your wright, Indeed the table date from before 2002? If i delete in the table a unitprice value and renter the value, than clicking on it doesn't change the value anymore.
    Does that means that i have to reenter the unit price for each record in tblArticles to solve the problem ?

    No, you could run an update query:
    - Create a query based on the table.
    - Add the UnitPrice field.
    - Change the query to an Update query.
    - Enter the following in the Update to line:

    Round([UnitPrice],2)

    - Run the query

    (Note: if you use comma as decimal separator, use a semi-colon ; instead of a comma in the above expression)
