My Pic in Woody's (Vista HP)

    Hei,
Now that you can again add a My Pic for display in posts I have been trying to do just this but each time the pic gets distorted (loooong!). Anyone knows how to solve this?
And reducing a digital camera pic to just 5k poses quite a significant reduction in pixel size ... what is the best way to do this?
Ron ... note the pic distortion, I don't always look as if I have a long and narrow head!

Lounge user pictures are 65 pixels wide and 75 pixels high, so you should create a picture of that size or at least with the same aspect ratio, e.g. 78 by 90 or 130 by 150.

A program such as IrfanView (free) can resize images while preserving reasonably good quality.

Just to give you an option to try, I resized the picture to "close in size" and then pasted it into a 65 x 75 window. I then made the excess space transparent and saved it as a GIF rather than a JPG. That's one trick that some folks use to be able to work within the 65 x 75 size.
