Opening form to Specific Record (2007)

I attach a demo of a db that shows strange behaviour in 2007, but not in 2003.

I want to move from a list form to a form that shows details of a specific record. I can do this by clicking the Show Details button or double clicking the yellow ID. Double clicking just calls the button code.

If I use double clicking focus is not set to the newly opened form, but if I use the button it is.
Specifically, if I double click, then immediately press TAB, the details form seems to close. But it has not really closed, it has just been hidden by the list form, as the TAB actually took place back on the list form. Furthermore the field I have now tabbed into seems to have been deleted, but it reapears after another TAB.

Can someone else with 2007 confirm they observe the same behaviour? Any suggestions for stopping it?

Surely there is somebody with 2007 who can look at the attachment.

I really just want confirmation that the behaviour I see happens for others opening this in 2007.

The db will open to a list view. Double click one of the yellow ID fields, then press TAB (without clicking the mouse or doing anything else first).

Does the form disappear? , and the original form reappear with the Firstname blank?
Press Tab again and the name reappears? Close the form, and form frmActorDetails reappears?

I get the same results as you.
I tried changing your textbox name to txtActorfirstname - same result
I tried adding a SetFocus on the form before the Actorfirstname.SetFocus - same result

I can only surmise that it is an Access 2007 quirk (of which there are several Grrr!)

I have not got to grips with many of the new properties in A 2007 (I still develop in A2000)
It could conceivably be one of those interacting strangely but I am at a loss to know where to start looking.

Thanks for taking the trouble to look.
At least I know that the problem is not just confined to my computer.
