    Toggle button (Access 2000)

I want to run a code in case the toggle button is pressed. However Access does not accept the command
    If Me!CmdOrders = True Then
How could i refer to the case when the toggle button is pressed in order to carry out an action?

Are you sure that CmdOrders really is a toggle button? If it is actually a command button, it doesn't have a value True or False.

You should be able to use a toggle button, and you should be able to look at its value.
Please check carefully that you have used a toggle button, and not a command button instead, and also that you haven't placed the toggle button in an option group. It must be a stand-alone toggle button.
