Only allowing one person (2003 SP3)

We have a cash receipt database that sits on a local network. Recently we switched servers and ever since, only one person can access the database at a time. Prior to the switch, this was not a concern. If anyone has any ideas on what to check, I'd appreciate it.

    Thank you.

Make sure that all users have Modify permissions (i.e. Read/Write/Create/Delete) on the folder that contains the frontend database *and* on the folder that contains the backend database.
And of course, the database files should not be read-only (which could happen if they were transferred via CD-ROM or DVD-ROM)
