    compare datasets (2002)

    I'm trying to compare 2 data sets of about 15,000 rows. I have to do it manually so it's a bit of a mamouth task. <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15> all on a Friday night <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15>.

Between the two data sets I have formulas in columns J&K checking 2 cells from left data set to right. The right set does not change but I need to add lines (A-I) and delete also. I am trying to write 2 macro's but am stuck.

    1. active cell G, delete a-i, move cells up, then offset right 3 and up one, fill handle down, then offset right 1 and fill handle down
    2. active cell G, insert a-i, move cells down, then offset right 3 and up one, fill handle down, then offset right 1 and fill handle down.

The two fill down's need to be seperate as the selection is too large to combine both.

    Please help

No need, I got there eventually. I always forget how useful the macro recorder can be in relative mode!

    Thanks
