    Removing Office 97 (XP3 - SP2)

I have just installed Office Enterprise 2007 and would now like to remove Office 97. I have attempted this using the Control Panel and Add/Remove programmes. I am asked for the original disc but no longer have it, if I ever had. Can you suggest another method please.

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

MSKB article OFF97: How to Completely Remove Microsoft Office 97 on Windows XP, Windows Me, and Windows 2000 provides information on what to delete from the hard disk and from the registry, but be careful! It's easy to mess up other things during the process.

In fact, if you have enough disk space, I'd recommend leaving Office 97 installed. It doesn't take up a lot of space on today's hard disks.
