Lost Temporary Internet Files folder (XP SP2)

    Hi

I seem to have lost my 'Temporary Internet Files' folder.
I'm not having any problems accessing websites but Windows Explorer doesn't display the folder in my Local Settings folder .
I tried rebooting but no folder.

Can anyone suggest what might be going on?

    Cheers
    Ken

Re: Lost Temporary Internet Files folder (XP SP2)

    Thanks Bob

I had already checked the options and I did have the 'Show hidden files and folders' selected but this time I removed the check for 'Hide protected operating system files'.
I now have the folder back.

I still don't know what caused the change. I regularly open the Temporary Internet Files Folder and haven't made any changes to the options that I'm aware of.

    All's good now.

    Cheers
