Flowing text from odd page to odd page (even also) (Word 2007)

I am looking for a way to flow text from page 1 to 3 to 5 and so on and do the same for all the even pages.

I have seen some information on how you can do this with linked text boxes. Is that the best way to do it, or is than an easier way?

    Thanks!!

Word doesn't really support that. Although you can use linked text boxes, you can use at most 32 of them in a document, and it makes managing your document much more difficult.

How about setting the page to landscape, and using a table with one row and two columns? The table will automatically flow to the next page.

Your table idea is interesting, but would not work for this situation. The writer is looking to have a guide with instructor notes on even pages and student text on odd pages.

In the past, they have maintained two separate documents and combined the two by creative collating or printing one document and putting the pages back in the printer turned the right way and printing the other document on the other side of the page.

They were hoping to put them in the same document.

The limitation on the number of linked text boxes makes that option no good either.

It seems like the best option may be to keep doing things as they have. However, if you or anyone has other ideas, I am open to suggestions.

    Thanks!!

One other possibiulity, I suppose is to use something other than Word. A desktop publishing program can probably handle this, such as MS Publisher or Serif PagePlus, or others. I use PagePlus. You could then perhaps use the linked text box approach without the limit on the number of links.

Publisher does handle linked text boxes better than Word, but it is more limited in other respects - whether it suits Troy's purposes is for her to decide.

I don't know PagePlus, so I cannot comment on that.
