    START-UP MACRO (2007)

Is there in 2007 as there was in earlier versions a way of writing a macro so that it would run automatically when the workbook is opened?

    It's still the same:
    - Activate the Visual Basic Editor.
    - Double-click the ThisWorkbook node for the workbook in the Project Explorer on the left hand side.
    - Select Workbook from the Object dropdown in the upper left of the module window that appears.
    - This will create the skeleton for the Workbook_Open event procedure that fires automatically when the workbook is open.

Make sure that the macro security settings make it possible to run macros.
