    bigger Fonts

I had to change my screen resolution to 1280*1024 to accommodate an ill behaved program and will have to leave it that way. Now my fonts are so small they are hard to read. I can't find how to make the fonts bigger in all my applications and on the Desktop -- the controls are not in Control Panel or in Active Desktop. Can anyone help?? Thanks!

    Re: bigger Fonts

Go into "Display properties" and near the bottom there is a listing for Font size.
Select a "large" or "Extra large".

    hope this helps.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

If the previous suggestion didn't solve your problem, you might also experiment with the Accessiblity Options (Start/Programs/Accessories/Acessibility). The wizard will step you through a variety of options that let you enlarge various aspects of the desktop and fonts. I don't have extensive experience with these options, but using them to set up a system for my mother, whose sight is impaired, let me change things that the Display options didn't.
