Adding an option (windows xp sp2)

when you use the pop-up menu, select Documents you can view current files or go to My Documents. I have a folder under C:SYSTEMS which I would like to add to this selection. I made a desktop short cut that works but I would really have it inside the START-DOCUMENTS section.
Can some one point me in the direction of making this happen?

"pop-up menu" is that the Windows Start menu?

"Documents" is that "My documents" on the abovementioned Start menu?

If you display My Documents as a menu in the Start menu (see screenshot below), subfolders of the My Documents folder will appear as submenus of Start | My Documents.

If you place a shortcut to your folder in My Documents, it will also appear as a submenu in Start | My Documents.

I tried what I thought you ment when I moved the short into the start menu and then tried to go to documents it would not allow it. I could move it to programs and it would open.

Oops, forgot to add it, sorry. I'm on a different PC now with a Dutch version of Windows, so the picture below is from that version, but I hope the idea is clear.

You should copy or move the shortcut to My Documents in Windows Explorer, not in the Start Menu itself.
