    delete a word from Find and Replace Window (MS Word 2002)

    Hi all,

    I need to delete a word from Find and Replace Window

    Eg) Find window contains : 3 words

    Are ,how,hello

    I want to delete “hello” from this list ? I tried alt+del , shift + del , del , all combination of keys. Nothing is working.


    This Is little bit urgent for me

    I appreciate your help.

    Isn't it the case that the list clears itself when you exit Word? That's what happens in my experience.

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

    As far as I know, you can't remove items from the Find history. Word will retain them during the current session. The list is not stored when you quit Word, so next time you start Word, the list will be blank again.
