Projector?

In Windows 7 Win-P takes you to a selection for connecting to a projector (?).

Can this be disabled or turned off?

I may be missing something, but surely not pressing Win+P would have the desired result?

Or do you have someone who just presses keys randomly to observe any result - like a kitten walking on the keyboard, perhaps?

I didn't set it that way as I have no "projector." It's some type of Win 7 default. If so, where would the settings for such keys codes be?

Win key + P has no effect on my vanilla install of Windows 7.

In any event, if you say that you need Win+P for another program, and if Microsoft had assigned a meaning to that key comination, then <big>Microsoft wins</big> (for is it not their operating system?), and you'd have to go back to the authors of that program for them to assign a different key combination.

Or, use something else for assigning hot keys, such as the <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> : Clavier+ 10.6.1
