renaming a folder (vista)

I'm trying to rename a folder, either from the left panel within Windows Explorer or in the "Open" window in Word, and I keep getting the message "You need permission to perform this action." But I am the only one who uses this computer and I am the administrator. How can I rename a folder?

(Edited by dovidshmuel on 08-Feb-09 17:29. )
I first replied that it didn't help because I only did what the main article said. Then I saw the first comment, did that, and it worked. I'm amazed you found this article. I did a search in Windows help for renaming folders, which came up with nothing useful, then in Microsoft help, which had about 30000 entries, none of the first few were what I needed. Anyway, thanks for your help.
