Outlook 2000 Check Names (Outlook 2000)

If I'm looking for a person and use the Check Names button. Ex. I'm composing a message. In the To: field I enter per or a persons name which is pero. I select the check names icon. It check the Global Address List but doesn't seem to check the Contacts book where this person is. I thought It checks the Global Address list first then check your Contact Book??

You may have to tell Outlook that you want it to check your Contacts list in addition to your Global Address List. Go to Tools-Services-Addressing. On the bottom section, add your Contacts to this list.

    Hope this helps,
