    Customize Outline Numbered List (2003)

Is Word's Customize Outline Numbered List (reached by clicking "Customize" under the Outline Numbered tab of the Bullets and Numbering dialogue) limited to the options shown under "Number style"? I am interested in using a numbering scheme comprised of "One," "Two," "Three," etc., but in a foreign language. Since it's not one of the options, I am wondering if it is at all possible to do.

    Regards,

    JMT

Apparently so. I tried changing the language of a paragraph to French, then chose the One, Two, Three numbering style and look how it turned out . . . (see below)

Oh you’re absolutely right. I didn’t even notice in my document that the numbering changed in the preview section because my attention was focused on the content in the drop-down Number style window.

    Thank you!
