    Inserting an image

To insert an image, I am supposed to use the TagPanel. Then I am supposed to highlight the image URL and click the Image button. But how do I get an image URL? I know where the image is stored on my computer, but how do I turn that file reference into an URL?
    Regards,
    Peter

    Re: Inserting an image

If you want to insert an image into the body of a post, it would have to be stored on a web page already before posting, and you'd have to use that URL (web address). You can't insert an image from your hard disk into the body of a post. So you'd need to upload the image to a website - either your own or one of the websites that allow you to store images.

You can, as you know, attach an image from your hard disk below your signature by clicking the Browse... button while composing a post or reply.

You don't. If the image is stored on your local computer, you UPLOAD it as an attachment to a post. The image tag is for images that are stored on other web sites.
