    Remove space between graphics (2007)

Due to the 100k limit, I've put the file here for download:

    http://download106.mediafire.com/z4snkddm0...nu/box_gap.docx

The file shows how two pictures side-by-side in Word have a gap.

How can I close that gap off?

    Thanks a bunch.

What's the purpose of having two small rectangles in a 431 KB document? The screenshot below shows what I see in your document.
You can simply move one of them using the mouse or the arrow keys to close the gap.

When you insert pictures in a Word document you have many choices about how they should be laid out on the page.

These pictures have been inserted with a layout of "Square". You can close the gap between them by simply dragging them with your mouse until they are touching. Depending on what you are trying to achieve, it may be easier to set each box to be "In line with text". This will make them behave like large characters and force their position on the page in the same way as any other text. There would then be no gap between them.

I am using Word 2003, co I can't tell you exactly how to do this in Word 2007, but see this web page for more information.
