    Legacy Folders (Vista x64 SP1)

I got a new PC last weekend with Vista Home Premium x64, I had backed up my 'My Documents' folder from my old XP machine and copied it back to my new machine. I see where Vista automatically moved a few folders for me, which is fine. There are now some folders displayed in Explorer which are inaccessible. There's also an 'Application Data' folder that Vista doesn't appear to use. Do I just ignore these, or is there some way to whack them, providing theres no unintended consequences? If whackable, is there a list somewhere of what's fair game?

Just leave them be. In Vista those are shortcuts to the real folders so programs that have not been updated to the new structure will still work.

That makes sense, Joe. Guess I'll have to modify my housecleaning habits.
