Copy normal.dotm to other computer (Word 2007)

Friend has a new laptop with Word 2007 and Windows Vista.
On her old laptop (also Word 2007 and Vista) she created some macros that are in the Word template.
Can she just copy normal.dotm from the old laptop to the new laptop as a quick way to get all of her macros? Or would copying a template from one computer to another cause unintended (and bad) consequences?

She should have no problems if she copies Normal.dotm from one computer to the other, this is a common thing to do.

It's also an option to export the macros from the VBE on the older computer and import them on the new computer. Each module (e.g., code module, class module, form) exports as a separate file. It's also a useful backup in case the template ever becomes corrupted, although I don't know whether that is an issue with the new Word 2007 formats.

Thanks to you both. I just copied the template and that did the trick.
