    Outlook.pst file (2003)

I have Outlook 2003 on my standalone PC. Does anyone know where the default location is for this file? I have tried doing a search for it but cannot locate it. I found a path on an error message but the path does not exist:
documents and settingownerlocal settingsapplication datamicrosoftoutlookoutlook.pst - I don't have a "local settings" folder.

I'm trying to locate this file so I can add it to a scheduled back up. Can anyone please help?

    Thanks.

    Re: Outlook.pst file (2003)

Local Settings is a hidden folder. Open My Computer or a Windows Explorer window and use Tools > Folder Options, View tab. Chose the radio button to Show hidden files and folders. Then you should be able to find Local Settings under your own username (it might be "owner" but probably not).

If the file is not there, in Outlook, right-click the Personal Folders in the folder list, choose Properties, then click the Advanced button. The full path to your PST should be listed there.

    Any luck?
