    Freeform pasting? (2003 SP2)

Is there a way to set the properties of a DOC in advance, such that anything pasted into it is "freeform" by default? That is, we want to make it so the user doesn't have to right-click each object, then choose Format ____ > Layout > Square > OK. Any ideas?

That is not a document-level setting but an application-level setting (or user-level if you will). Instruct your users that they can set it as follows:

    - Select Tools | Options...
    - Activate the Edit tab.
    - Select Square from the "Insert/paste pictures" dropdown.
    - Click OK.
