    Searching the Lounge

What would be really cool in the new version (although if the new version has been selected and doesn't have this feature I'm blowing in the wind) would be to select two (or more, but two would be good) forums to search.

Especially for VBAers where searching for help in, say, resizing a Plot Area may have a VBA solution in "VBA" or in "Excel".
I feel awkward searching "All Forums" when I know that there's very little VBA code in "Cooking"

I feel too tired to make another post about "most recently used" or similar, whereby the Lounge search mechanism would allow me to nominate, say, "Excel & VBA" as my search-forums of preference.

I've said from day one that the best thing about a facility like this is the ability to search and obtain hints, tips and tricks, without posting the seven thousandth request for help on a particular topic.
Anything that improves the quality of the search mechanism improves the quality of the established data base many times over.

    Thanks for listening <img src=/S/hugs.gif border=0 alt=hugs width=41 height=25>

The "new" Lounge will let you specify any combination of forums to search in.

Not what you want or mention, but you can limit a search here to the "Microsoft Office etc" forum's sub-forums; at least some limits and still covering the essential.

I agree completely that using search instead of posting yet another question about something already answered is the best way to use the resources. Many times the answers found are so good and well put that it is no need to repeat it one more time.

It looks like it is going to be a lot better in the future.
