    Customizing document view size? (2007)

    Is there a way to instruct Word to always open a document at 95% view size? I don't see any advanced customization settings under the View tab in the ribbon header that might enable this. Thanks.

    Re: Customizing document view size? (2007)

    You could create a macro named AutoOpen (this name is obligatory) in a standard module in your Normal.dotm template. This macro will be executed whenever a document is opened:

    Sub AutoOpen()
    ActiveDocument.ActiveWindow.View.Zoom = 95
    End Sub

    If you also want to set the view size for newly created documents, create a similar macro named AutoNew:

    Sub AutoNew()
    ActiveDocument.ActiveWindow.View.Zoom = 95
    End Sub
