Query too complex or System Resources Exceeded (A2K)

I have a qryCheckIn that is returning either a Query too complex or System Resource Exceeded error message. In addition to the fields in qryRentCalc0, there are 21 calculated fields. If any one of the calculated field are removed qryCheckIn will run.

    Any suggestions?

I was unable to figure out how to incorporated your suggested qryRental into the new receipt. The system prints receipts from a check in form, an edit form and an extend guest form. I was able to get the new receipt to work correctly form both the edit form and the extend guest form but encountered the error message when trying to run qryCheckIn. Since I was unable to figure out how to use qryRental, I was trying to come up with another method.

The new report is in the attached database called rptGovtReceipt.

Any assistance with either approach would be appreciated.

You shouldn't try to cram all those fields into one record.
Create a query that returns a separate row for each day (that's where the query I proposed comes in). Group the report by receipt number and place the data that are independent of the date in the group header or group footer, and the GovtDate, GovtTaxes etc. in the detail section.
