    Recordset Loops (2002/XP)

I need to calculate the total combinations of rows from three single field tables, preferably without repetition, and store the results in a table. I’m not sure how to accomplish this, I’ve tried some VBA to loop through the recordsets, but I can’t get it to work. The problem is, I’m not sure if it’s my lack of mathematical knowledge or VBA skill that’s creating the issue. I attached a sample database.

In my head, it works like this:

    Bin.Status + StockNumber.Status + PartNumber.Status = Validation(BinStatus,StockNumberStatus,PartNumberS tatus)

    Next loop

    Any help would be appreciated.

You don't need to use any coding to do this.

Add the three tables to a query, but do not link the table. Add each field to your query. You will get all possible combinations returned.

I've updated your file with the query.
