    Mail Profiles (2000 SP3)

I am trying to set up mail profiles in Outlook, after reloading Office 2000. When I enter the name of a new profile, the system insists that the name already exists, but using 'show profiles', there are non. I have spent some time searching the hard disk and likely locations, but cannot find where the profiles are stored???? Any ideas??

Profile and account details are stored in the Windows Registry (in HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWindows Messaging SubsystemProfiles).

Many thanks Hans. I kind of thought it was in the registry, but not in any of the keys I guessed at. Can I ask, just how did you know where to find such a nugget of information or are you on first name terms with all the keys????. Thanks again

If I remember correctly, this question has been asked before, and I searched Google for the answer.
