    Thumbs up

In the Control panel, I have a list of attachments and the description about them says the following: Manage Your Attachments
You have used 1.11MB of global upload space.

If I delete these attachments, does it affect the posts that I have in the various forums? If so, then it isn't a good idea to change those questions/answers by deleting attachments. But if I don't delete them, then eventually, I may use up my space. So how should a user handle this dilemma?

    TIA

Leave your attachments in place, don't delete them for it would cause old posts to be missing their attachments. In the FAQ I wrote I mentioned that deleting an attachment removes it from its original post. See this post.

I believe the Admins have either solved or removed the limitation on capacity but I don't remember that for sure. Let me go looking and if I (or an Admin) need to change my recommendation, I'll be back. Good to see you made it here and ( ) cleared your cache!

Thanks for the reply Al. <I see I received an email notification that said you had replied! So that problem has been solved!>
I'll be sure to leave my attachments in place! I hope everyone else does as well! Or we will have a mess! And I am very glad to be back. Apparently it was the clearing of the cache that solved my problem. I hope others think to do this when they have problems accessing our Lounge!

BTW - here's a toast to everyone who has worked very hard to bring on the New Lounge! I am happy now that I can have my

Big Al is correct, there is no limitation on the total size of one's attachments.
