I have a form which is partly filled in with DLookup. We have had an occasion, where DLookup has found no results. The user has entered the data manually, and when he has move to the next record, the data disappears. Do I have to have 'allow edits' on all controls, or is there an easier method?

Do you have code in the On Current event of the form that automatically fills in some fields? If so, it would overwrite manually entered data.

No, there's nothing in the 'OnCurrent' event.

No idea then, without more detailed info.
