[size="3"]I write reports and they are normally laid out in chronological order in 24 hr format. Unfortunately the parliamentarians and their minders that end up reading these reports are unable to work out what the time is. Hence they require me to change it to the 12 hr format. is there a way of writing the 24 hr format and have a shortcut add the 12hr format after it in say (). i was thinking along the lines of a autocorrect however adding all the combinations would take too much time.

    Thank you for your feedback

You could set a bookmark for the time. Let's say you call it Thetime.
You can refer to it as follows:
    - Press Ctrl+F9 to insert new field braces { }.
    - Type REF TheTime \@ "hh:mm AM/PM" between the field braces.
    - Press F9 to hide the field code and uppdate the field.

Thank you Hans for your reply. Looks like I will need to study this one, as I am finding it difficult to work out.
