A friend's computer is infected with this piece of malware. Anyone found a good way to get rid of it?

Thanks. I tried emailing that little program to my friend and having her run it, but she couldn't figure out how to do that, so today I went over and ran it off a thumb drive. Worked so quick I wasn't sure it had really gotten the malware out, but I ran a different program after that and it found no trace of System Guard 2009.

Does this work on Spyware Protect 2009?

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

I think it's specific to System Guard 2009. Try Spyware Protect 2009 removal instructions, or use a generic anti-spyware program such as MalwareBytes.

The "Paid" version of Spyware Doctor did the job.
