Outlook 2000 Contact Forwarding to Outlook 97 User (Outlook 2000)

<img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>I have one user in my office that is using Outlook 2000 and everyone else is still using 97. When forwarding contact cards from the 2000 user to a 97 user you have a 50/50 chance of being able to open the contact card at the 97 machine. Is this because of the different versions? Is it because the 2000 user had original used 97 so that those are the only contact cards that can be opened elsewhere? Is there a way around this? Help!

they changed field names between versions - that's likely why only old contacts can be opened.

there is a fix vcard utility inthe MS knowledge base but i don't think it addresses your problem. in a quick search, i didn't see any KB's relating to your problem.
