I have followed MS instructions to export a table as XML however in my save as I cannot see XML. All I have is Table,Form,Report and Data Access Page.

I went into references and added XML version 6 but it made no difference. Anybody know whats wrong. Thanks

In the Export Table .... As dialog, you have to ask the XML format in the under most combo, see attachment.

Sorry, would have deleted this thread but cannot find button. MS says select the table name in the DB window, then select File, then save as. But its Export you need to select. So I have now found how to do it manually.

However if anyone has an idea on code to do the operation it would be useful. Thanks

Many thanks Francois, your answer came through as I was writing another bit to say I found it in Export and not in Save As, as MS says.

Now looking for any code to do it programatically. Thanks again.

Look at the ExportXML Method of the Application object.
