    Where do the "Word Options" settings reside in Word 2007 for any given user? and are they transportable?? Thanks.

    Many of the settings are stored in the Windows registry.
    Some are stored in the default template (Normal.dotm)
    Others are stored in various files; customizations to the Quick Access Toolbar are stored in Word.qat for example.

    There used to be a wizard to do this for you but it was dropped for Office 2007 in favour of an OS-based tool which saved the settings of MS Vista and MS Office.
