I must have enabled the Word notification "Replace direct formatting with style Comment Text". Basically, there is a blue squiggly line under a lot of text and when I accept this notification, it changes the indentation and font to what I don't want. Additionally, when I click Ignore rule or Ignore once, it sometimes doesn't acknowledge this. This is especially problematic b/c it is preventing me from accepting or rejecting some changes I made to text (I need to undo my changes and reinstate the original text, but cannot with the above notification still active). I would like to disable this notification. Anyone?

I don't have Word 2007, but I thought that the blue squiggly line indicated contextual spelling errors.

Spelling errors have a red squiggly underline.
Grammar errors have a green squiggly underline.
Contextual spelling errors have a blue squiggly underline.

Blue squiggles also mark formatting inconsistencies. Turn it off in Word options > advanced > editing options section.
