Is there any straightforward way, without third-party software, for three PCs in a workgroup (no Exchange server) to share calendars?

Otherwise, I presume the main alternative is Google Calendars?

    Thanks!

Google Calendar is probably the easiest workaround, but see Sharing Microsoft Outlook Calendar and Contacts for a list of utilities for Outlook (in particular the Tools section).

You can use Windows Live Calendar.

Thanks, Hans and Joe! Since the intended organisation has 'a mix of software levels' I suspect the most straightforward solution is either Google Calendar or Windows Live Calendar (new to me). I will suggest they look at both.
