Does anyone know how you solve for x in this equation?

3^(4x) = 2^(2x+1)

2. 34x = 22x+1

2log(34x) = 2log(22x+1)

4x.2log3 = 2x+1

(4.2log3-2)x = 1

x = 1/(4.2log3-2)

where . is multiplication (usually indicated by a slightly raised dot)

FWIW, In Excel parlance the formula is =1/(4*LOG(3,2)-2), which evaluates to 0.230422710309185
