I have a report that will show two fields, Name and Eligible Date.

There are 3 data fields, name, date of purchase and start date.

The Eligible Date will be 1 year from the date of purchase or if this field is empty, 1 year from the start date.

I have no idea how deal with the Eligible Date field.

    Could someone please help.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the Lounge!

You can create a query with a calculated field

Eligible Date: DateAdd("yyyy", 1, Nz([Date of Purchase], [Start Date]))

and use this query as record source for the report, or place a text box on the report with control source

    =DateAdd("yyyy", 1, Nz([Date of Purchase], [Start Date]))
