It seems in Windows 7 that once I run a program that resides in the tray, it will show up on the "Customize" list, even if it's no longer active.

Is there a setting or way to have only the active icons show up on the "Customize" list?

Also, I apologize, for I posted a question a while back about tray icons remaining after the program was uninstalled. Now I can't find my notes on it, and it was prior to the new board, so it's gone seemingly.

If anyone still has THAT reference I would really appreciate getting that one again.

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

The following articles are for Vista and reference registry keys that may or may not be in Windows 7. If they are in Windows 7 you can try the suggestion.

No I looked through that one yesterday Leif. I thought thwere was another one that showed specifically how to remove tray "ghosts" left after uninstalling.

    Thanks though.
