    This is interesting
If I share a calendar in 2007, I get reminders for EVERY apt in that calendar regardless who put them in the calendar.
How do I be reminded of only the apts I have created?

From what I've been able to find unfortunately the answer is NO. It seems as though Microsoft went from no reminders to all reminders with no ability to manage them.

You might check out Slovak Technical Services Reminder Manager to see if it can help. I don't think it can do what you are asking though.

I'm wondering if this would be the reason to have shared calendars hosted on the server instead of within a mail account.

From what I've read you only get reminders on those Calendars in your default mail file. If you have a shared calendar in Exchange you won't get reminders.

NOTE: that is if I've read AND understood everything correctly.
