A particular website seems to use Flash to show a succession of pictures. Does anyone know a way to acquire the images so that they can be looked at at one's leisure?

    Thanks!

If the pictures are in the SWF you should be able to find the SWF in your TIF.

To access the Firefox cache, press Ctrl+T to open a new tab, type about:cache in the address bar, and press Enter. Choose "disk cache" (usually very little is kept in the memory cache). Then, to find the images, you can search by the partial URL or by the date/time of access.

In some cases, SWF photo viewers will start by retrieving a .xml file that contains the details of each image. So if you can find and open that XML file, that may well be the easiest way to find the full set of images in a useful order.

Thanks, Jefferson and Joe. Looking through the cache gave me the format of the image links, and the naughty website simply enabled me to go to <website.co.uk>/<directory>/images/ and see them all listed in the usual Unix LS format. Clicking on each link brought up that image.

By 'naughty' I meant 'inadequately secured'! The pictures are, in fact, of classical music performance.
