Recipe for Hot Cross Buns

Previous threads have shown that Loungers are also keen bakers. So I was wondering if anyone makes their own hot cross buns and how they do it. While I do a good line in pizza dough, my bread always ends up being like cake and is only edible while it is still warm.

I have used this recipe from the Food Network and found that it wasn't too hard.

And how do they taste the next day? Are they hard and cake like, or still bread like?

I found them to be easy to make. I don't do a large amount of baking so you can guage it against that.

They tasted great fresh out of the oven and I have to confess, they did not last beyond that.
