Even after creating a new report, running the new report asks for a parameter of a variable that in not in my report or in the query? This is very confusing. Any suggestions.

Do you have a lookup field in the table or query behind the report that refers to something that doesn't exist any more?

If you can't find the cause, you might attach a small database that demonstrates the problem, compacted and zipped.
