Is there an input mask that will auto align what I type into a field to the right or left...I don't mean the ! sign for starting from the right to the left, I mean actually right align my numbers for example when i format a zipcode field as text...and I want the input mask to auto align the entry to the right of the cell.

    Thanks

That's not a property of the input mask but of the text alignment. Select the text box and click the Right Align button on the toolbar, or set the Text Alignment property in the Format tab of the Properties window to Right.

    Hans,

Not in a form...I can do that. I meant in a table.

    Thanks

You can't set the alignment of a field in a table, but that doesn't matter since end users should never enter or edit data directly in a table, only in a form.

One possibility to align in a table is to upgrade to Access 2007. In this version you can align directly in a table. But like Hans say, a user should never see a table.
