    This must be easy, but I just can't quite figure it out.
    A query returns 3 fields from a table F1 is a date field (so that we can filter the records between dates), F7 is the billing amount in 's and pence, lastly F9 is the client's unique code.
    The object is to get a total of 's for each client, between dates. The between dates works ok, but the sum only return F&! Please help me.

    We'd need to have more info, or preferably see a copy of the database...

    Thanks for yourresponse Hans. I have now solved the problem, it was because the umming query was based on a table rather than the QueryAll - which was based on the table.
