Outlook 2003. I have a user that periodically has mail stuck in the outbox. Sometimes she can drag the stuck mail to the drafts or deleted item folder and then try recomposing the mail. Sometimes that works, sometimes still gets stuck mail.

She's done a compress and that didn't resolve anything.

    Any thoughts?

Is Sp-3 installed? Does the e-mail typically have an attachment? Is is a large e-mail? Does she have other network issues?

Yes, SP3 is installed. The stuck mail has attachments, but they're small...sometimes a 1 page Word doc.

No other network issues to our knowledge. No problem, for example, using Gmail on webmail.
Incoming mail not a problem either.

Do you have an A/V scanner checking outbound email?

    Have you tried disabling addins?

None of that. Experimenting with the distribution list (there are several)...thinking there might be a bad address.

    You have to love puzzles!
