    Hi,

I have a table(tblBoardTracking), where I need to update a field labelled 'BoardIns' for the match of the primary keys values in that table which is found earlier on. The primary keys for the table is StID and the the way to marry the two up is via a variable of maxstid.

How do I update the field based upon that criterais of the primary key fields matching?
    Best Regards,

    Luke

You will need to make some design choices and provide more information before we can be helpful. For example, what version of Access are you using? Which data access method do you plan to use, DAO or ADO? Are you proficient with VBA using data access methods? (If you don't consider yourself proficient at VBA and data access, you probably look at doing the updating using stored queries.)
