I have a spreadsheet with filters set. There are two main fields that I want to work on - Channel and Status. If I filter for a particular channel, how can I count how many of the records have a Status = "Not Actioned". I want to show a calculated field above the data showing how much of the work has been completed as a percentage of the total. I have been able to count all instances of "Not Actioned" by using a CountIF function but cannot get it to change when the filter parameters change.

Can this be done with formulae, or will I need to use VBA Code.

    Regards,

You could use Advanced Filter, and the DCOUNTA function. See the attached sample workbook: [attachment=83214:AdvFilter.xls]
